I went to go see Hancock on Saturday (I wanted to see Hellboy II instead). But that's not what I'm going to talk to you about.
I like movie previews, they give me something to look forward to in the coming months or show me how far down the quality of movies has become.
That evening I saw the ultimate sin.
They are doing a remake of The Day the Earth Stood Still! With Keanu Reeves as Klaatu! When I saw that I started yelling bloody murder in my seat.
This is horrible. Not only is this one of my favourite films of all time, but is one of the greatest Sci-Fi films of all time. This film is a classic. You do not fuck with the classics.
Someone needs to die for this.

Eww, that is grim news indeed. A remake was inevitable, I know, but Keanu Reeves? That's just...mean-spirited. Ouch.
On the bright side, you should definitely see Hellboy II. It's excellent.
